Welcome! If you’re flying into Milan, getting to Verona is straightforward and easy to navigate. After landing at Malpensa Airport, you’ll take a quick train into the city of Milan, then transfer to a direct high-speed train to Verona. The full journey typically takes around 3–4 hours and runs frequently throughout the day.
We’ve outlined simple step by step instructions below so you can get from the airport to Verona smoothly no stress, no guesswork.
MXP to Milano Centrale
After you land you will go through customs and follow the signs for Trains/Malpensa Express
Purchase a ticket for Milan Central at one of the large red Malpensa Express machines.
These trains leave every 15-30 minutes and take about 50 minutes.
The tickets cost under €20.
You can also purchase your ticket from Milan Central to Verona Porto Nuova at this time.
Milano Centrale to Verona
When you arrive at the Milan Station, go to one of the large Trenitalia machines to purchase tickets to Verona Porta Nueva

The Milan train station is very busy, so we would not suggest purchasing tickets at the ticket counter
There are two high speed trains per hour and the trip will take about an hour and fifteen minutes
